About the Role

Morrison Healthcare is seeking a Critical Care Dietitian to primarily support ICU patients, with cross-coverage on med/surg floors at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven, MS. This is an inpatient position with a schedule of Monday-Friday and rotating weekends.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
• Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
• Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
• Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
• Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
• Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
• Must be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or eligible
• Specialty certification when required
• CNSC preferred or able to obtain within one year of hire
• Two years of work experience in specialty preferred
