Position Details

We are seeking a Dietitian Specialist to join our Nutrition Team in an Acute Care setting in Charleston, SC.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
  • Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
  • Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
  • Contribute to Quality & Performance Improvement initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
  • Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
  • Mentor and support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
  • Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
  • Specialty certification when required
  • Two years of work experience in specialty preferred

Qualifications

  • Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Must be licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
  • Specialty certification when required
