About the role
The Crisis Worker is responsible for providing immediate support and intervention to individuals experiencing a crisis situation.
Responsibilities
- Provide crisis intervention and support services to individuals in distress.
- Assess and document client needs and progress.
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Ensure safety and security of clients during crisis situations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in crisis intervention or mental health field.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly.
- Proficient in using crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation strategies.
- Experience working with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds.
