About the role
Provide triage, crisis intervention, and direct behavioral health support in urgent-care and mobile-crisis settings.
Responsibilities
- Respond to crisis calls and community needs through phone, in-person, and field-based support.
- Conduct risk assessments, de-escalation, and brief therapeutic interventions to stabilize individuals in distress.
- Develop safety and short-term stabilization plans in collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Coordinate appropriate care transitions, including hospital or community-based placements.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in team meetings and quality-improvement activities.
- Support intake, triage, and operational functions within behavioral-health settings.
Requirements
- Experience in community-based behavioral health or crisis support preferred; relevant licensure or certifications depending on career level.
- Completion of Colorado BHA Crisis Professional Curriculum or equivalent required within 90 days if not already certified.
- Active Colorado professional license (e.g., LPC, LCSW) or related credentials for advanced levels.
- CPR and First Aid certifications required or obtained within 30 days.
- Valid Colorado driver’s license and safe driving record required.
