Crisis Team Lead, Hospital (Evenings)

Aspire Health and Community Services is seeking an enthusiastic Emergency Services Team Lead for the Evening Shift to join our team at the South Shore Hospital Emergency Department. This role provides vital administrative and clinical support primarily during the evening hours, assisting the Program Director with assigned tasks while maintaining a strong focus on clinical responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct crisis evaluations, mental status updates, brief interventions for addiction, discharge planning, and collaborate with the treatment team.
• Address and resolve administrative concerns, staff needs, and workflow issues in real time to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with hospital/Aspire management to escalate urgent matters effectively.
• Provide real-time support to clinicians conducting crisis evaluations and brief interventions for addiction.
• Assist with complex triage concerns, showcasing problem-solving skills.
• Act as a primary trainer for new crisis clinicians, offering orientation, shadowing, and ongoing clinical mentorship.
• Provide feedback and skill-building opportunities for new staff.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and documentation standards.
• Support the creation of engaging training curriculum and materials.
• Oversee evening and weekend workflow, including:
  • Allocating MSU assignments to optimize team performance.
  • Assigning and prioritizing initial crisis evaluations for timely response.
  • Allocating brief interventions for addiction to provide essential support.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• LMHC or LICSW required.
• 2-4 years of experience in acute mental health.
• Bilingual skills and/or experience with multicultural populations preferred.
• Excellent listening, speaking, and interpersonal skills.

Pay

Compensation is based on candidate experience, qualifications, and certifications. The annual salary range for this full-time (40 hours per week) position is $75,000 - $95,000 USD.
