Crisis Services Professional - On Call

About the role

We are seeking a Crisis Service Professional to provide on‑call crisis response, risk assessments, and mobile support for individuals experiencing mental health emergencies in Adams & Juneau Counties. This role involves responding to crisis calls, conducting risk assessments, offering brief counseling, and connecting clients to community resources.

Responsibilities

• Respond to crisis calls and conduct risk assessments
• Provide brief counseling and crisis intervention
• Meet clients in various settings and respond to urgent situations
• Document interactions and collaborate with law enforcement and community partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field
• Preferred experience in mental health
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to respond within 1 hour in Adams & Juneau Counties
• Strong crisis assessment skills and ability to work independently
• Experience building effective relationships with diverse populations
