About the role
We are seeking dedicated Crisis Service Professionals to provide on‑call crisis response, risk assessments, and mobile support for individuals experiencing mental health emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Respond to crisis calls and emergency situations
- Conduct risk assessments and offer brief crisis counseling
- Meet clients in various settings such as homes, hospitals, and law enforcement locations
- Document interactions and maintain thorough records
- Collaborate with community partners to improve service delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related fields
- At least one year of experience with mental health clients preferred
- Knowledge of community resources and relevant laws (Chapters 34, 51, 55)
- Strong crisis assessment, decision-making, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and professionally under pressure
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and clean motor vehicle record
Schedule
- Flexible on‑call shifts, including overnight and weekend hours
- Daytime meetings and training as needed
