Crisis Services Professional - On Call

About the role

We are seeking dedicated Crisis Service Professionals to provide on‑call crisis response, risk assessments, and mobile support for individuals experiencing mental health emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Respond to crisis calls and emergency situations
• Conduct risk assessments and offer brief crisis counseling
• Meet clients in various settings such as homes, hospitals, and law enforcement locations
• Document interactions and maintain thorough records
• Collaborate with community partners to improve service delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related fields
• At least one year of experience with mental health clients preferred
• Knowledge of community resources and relevant laws (Chapters 34, 51, 55)
• Strong crisis assessment, decision-making, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and professionally under pressure
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and clean motor vehicle record

Schedule

• Flexible on‑call shifts, including overnight and weekend hours
• Daytime meetings and training as needed
