Crisis Recovery Specialist 1st or 2nd Shift - $1,000 Sign on Bonus*

About the role

The Crisis Recovery Specialist will provide support to individuals living with chronic mental illness and/or substance use disorders in a recovery-based trauma sensitive residential facility. The Crisis Recovery Specialist will support therapeutic programming, share meals with the clients, facilitate medication compliance, all while building strong, meaningful connections! This position is great for students or those who want to further their experience in the human service industry. We are looking for staff who can assist in motivating and encouraging individuals toward integration into the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals living with chronic mental illness and/or substance use disorders in a recovery-based trauma sensitive residential facility
• Support therapeutic programming
• Share meals with clients
• Facilitate medication compliance
• Build strong, meaningful connections
• Assist in motivating and encouraging individuals toward integration into the community

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to demonstrate compassion, sensitivity, and reasoning skills
• Able to communicate directly, respectfully, and clearly
• Ability to develop a nurturing relationship with clients
• Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation with personal automobile liability insurance coverage at or above the levels mandated by the State of Vermont
• Successful completion of a criminal history background check after hire
• Must be able to work 1st shift full time from 7:45am‑4:15pm or 2nd shift full time from 3:45pm‑12:15am

Pay

Competitive Pay Range - $20.00‑$20.50/hour plus applicable shift differential (compensation is typically dependent upon experience); $1,000 Sign‑On Bonus* (only for full time)
