Overview
We offer competitive compensation starting at $31.40 - $38.61 per hour, with additional benefits including a 7.5% bilingual differential and a 8% license differential for certain certifications. The initial compensation for this position ranges from $31.40 - $38.61 per hour, depending on experience, location, and internal equity considerations. Additionally, there is a 7.5% Bilingual Differential and an 8% License Differential for selected certifications.

About the Program
PSS1 is a 60-day program focusing on children and adolescents at risk of out-of-home placement, abuse, and neglect. Services are tailored to support children and their families in the Child Welfare System. We prioritize rapid response times and crisis stabilization support, with a 30-minute response time and 24/7 availability.
Responsibilities
- Develops a strength-based relationship with youth and caregivers.
- Intervenes with maladaptive behaviors while fostering the youth's strengths and interests.
- Leverages community resources and transfers skills to caregivers.
- Supports the creation of permanent connections for youth and families.
- Links youth and families to community resources and supports.
- Assists in transitioning youth to lower levels of care.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with one year of relevant experience working with children, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to speak, read, and/or write another language consistent with the program's client needs.

Physical Requirements
Must remain physically fit to ensure client safety. Physical tasks include standing, walking, sitting, using hands, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking, hearing, tasting, smelling, moving quickly, running, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing tasks such as adjusting focus, lifting, pushing/pulling, repetitive coupling, static weight, and other required movements.
