Crisis Clinician MCI (Tuesday-Friday, 7a-5p)

About the role

Aspire Health and Community Services offers an opportunity for Crisis Clinicians to gain comprehensive diagnostic and clinical skills with a broad population, including children and adults. The community-based team provides psychiatric emergency services to children, adults, and families experiencing acute crisis or at risk of harming themselves or others. Services are available 24/7, with the crisis intervention team evaluating, stabilizing, and referring clients to the most appropriate level of care.

Work is fast-paced, and clinicians receive clinical supervision for each client from an experienced, independently licensed supervisor. Responsibilities

• Assess adults, children, and families in crisis.
• Provide psychiatric emergency services, including evaluation and stabilization.
• Make referrals to the most appropriate level of care.
• Ensure continuity of care through follow-up and referral services.
• Document services using electronic health records and adhere to documentation protocols.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or other mental health discipline.
• Training in assessing adults in crisis, as well as competency in assessing children and their families in crisis.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a Crisis Intervention setting or related field placement (preferred).
• Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation protocols.
• Experience in providing follow-up and referral services.

Pay

Competitive salary with an $8/hour shift differential for working on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday-Friday from 8pm-8am. Annual salary range for this full-time (40 hours per week) position is $31.32 - $45.67 USD, based on candidate experience, qualifications, and certifications/licenses.

Schedule

Tuesday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
