Overview
We offer competitive compensation ranging from $103,379 - $127,143 per year, depending on experience, location, and internal equity considerations. Additionally, we provide a 7.5% bilingual differential and an 8% license differential for certain certifications.

About Our Program
PSS1: A 60-day program with a Profession Parent component, designed to provide comprehensive integrated service models for children and adolescents at risk of out-of-home placement, abuse, and neglect. Services are tailored to support children and families in the Child Welfare System, with a 30-minute response time and 24/7 crisis stabilization support.
Schedule
The position operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM with flexibility for 24/7 crisis response.
Responsibilities
- Ensures effective coordination of services with other providers, including local law enforcement.
- Applies advanced clinical skills to intervene with individuals and families in crisis situations.
- Functions as a clinical consultant to ensure involuntary psychiatric holds are executed correctly.
- Uses multi-modal approaches to therapeutic direction and crisis management.
- Maintains 24/7 scheduling for crisis response and covers shifts as needed.
- Provides direct services to individuals and families, supports direct service staff, and advocates for system change.
- Manages day-to-day operations and ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
- Participates in Quality Improvement (CQI) activities and project implementation.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work or closely related field with four or more years of clinical experience, including crisis management experience.
- Two years of supervised clinical experience with children or adults.
- Certified in crisis intervention techniques within 30 days of hire and annually.
- County-specific certification for LPS 5150 within 60 days of hire.
- Physical abilities test and crisis intervention certification required.
- Licensed according to California state law (Welfare and Institutions Code section 5600.2).
- Experience with culturally diverse populations and knowledge of local county rules and regulations.
