Crisis Care Coordinator (PRN)
PRN (as-needed) position with flexible scheduling. Choose from available shifts; must work at least one shift every two weeks and one weekend every three weeks. All Crisis Care Coordinators assist with holiday coverage, with the schedule determined at the start of each calendar year.
About The Job
We are seeking Crisis Care Coordinators to provide crisis services over the phone and in-office at our new Crisis Stabilization Center, Alex’s Place. Crisis Care Coordinators deliver short-term crisis intervention to youth, families, and adults experiencing emotional, behavioral, or psychiatric crises. Our team collaborates closely with law enforcement, schools, and other medical providers to stabilize acute or crisis situations and connect individuals with ongoing mental and behavioral health services tailored to their needs, strengths, and preferences.
Requirements
Eligible applicants must meet one or more of the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field with 1+ year of experience in behavioral or mental health services
- Law enforcement officer with 2+ years of experience in the field
- EMT with 2+ years of experience in the field
- Certified peer support with 1+ year of experience in behavioral or mental health services
- RN with 1+ year of experience in behavioral or mental health services
- Bachelor’s degree in a non-human services-related field, associate’s degree, or high school diploma (or equivalency) with 2+ years of experience in behavioral or mental health services, plus 30 hours of crisis and mental health in-service training (in addition to the required 30 hours of department-approved training)
Additional Qualifications
- 30 hours of crisis response training or a willingness to attain it
- Valid driver’s license (some travel is required for this position)
Pay
$21.00 per hour plus shift differentials ($0.67–$6.00 per hour, depending on the shift).
Schedule
- Available shifts: Sunday–Saturday
- Days: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM
- Nights: 8:00 PM–8:00 AM
