About the role
This role involves providing crisis intervention within a 24/7 suicide prevention call team, including clinical screenings, risk assessments, safety planning, and service linkage for individuals experiencing mental health crises.
Responsibilities
- Conduct telephonic clinical evaluations
- Perform outreach to promote safety
- Adhere to ethical and clinical standards
- Participate in team meetings and training
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Collaborate with community resources and agencies
- Complete administrative tasks as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Social Work, or related field, or certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist
- One year of experience is preferred
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to provide service linkage and referrals
Schedule
Part-time, with a focus on overnight coverage, especially weekends.
Physical activities
Minimal physical demands, primarily sitting, with occasional standing, squatting, and driving.
