Criminal Paralegal

About the role

A busy criminal law firm is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to support their team.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys throughout all phases of criminal matters from intake through resolution
• Aid in drafting, preparing, and filing legal documents
• Maintain and track case deadlines, court dates, and key milestones
• Organize and manage discovery materials, including reports and evidentiary documents
• Communicate with internal teams, clients, and outside agencies
• Aid in preparing materials for hearings, trials, and client meetings

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a paralegal role with exposure to criminal law preferred
• Familiarity with criminal court procedures and legal terminology
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
