Criminal Justice Instructor - FT40 (Face-to-Face, Tampa)

About the role

The Criminal Justice Instructor position at Keiser University is designed to contribute to the academic excellence of our institution. The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in criminal justice and a passion for teaching.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in criminal justice, including but not limited to criminology, forensic science, and corrections.
• Develop and maintain course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and assessments.
• Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.
• Maintain current knowledge of criminal justice trends and developments.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Criminal Justice or a related field from an accredited institution.
• At least three years of teaching experience at the college level.
• Proven ability to teach effectively and engage students.
• Experience in online or hybrid teaching environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Passion for criminal justice and a commitment to student success.

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS).

Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually.
