Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement formal and informal training programs, including lesson plans, instructional materials, and evaluation tools related to criminal and administrative indexing.
- Cook with DAF agencies and stakeholders to design and deliver training that ensures consistent and compliance indexing practices.
- Conduct virtual and in-person training sessions, including recurring and ad hoc courses, for personnel and Indexing Compliance Managers.
- Integrate indexing training into existing law enforcement and legal training pipelines to enhance SME-level competency.
- Plan, schedule and manage training logistics, ensuring facilities and resources support multiple annual sessions and participant requirements.
Requirements
- At least five (5) years’ experience developing and delivering training for adult learners.
- At least three (3) years’ experience either as a sworn law enforcement officer or other similar criminal justice experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Must have knowledge of common criminal justice terminology and processes.
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret Clearance.
- Must pass a law enforcement records check.
- Provide proof of citizenship using the I9 form and supporting documentation.
Qualifications, Experience & Education Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSA’s)
- Indepth knowledge of criminal justice processes, administrative indexing requirements, and applicable DAF, legal, and law enforcement policies.
- Skills in instructional design, curriculum development, and delivery of both in-person and virtual training programs.
- Ability to analyze and integrate complex laws, policies, and procedures into effective training content.
- Skills in stakeholder coordination and communication across diverse functional organizations.
- Ability to manage multiple training initiatives, schedules, and program requirements in a dynamic environment.
