About the Role

A Criminal Defense Lawyer / Staff Attorney position is available at an established law firm in Phoenix. The ideal candidate should have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school, be an active member in good standing with the Arizona State Bar, and have at least 3 years of experience in criminal defense and/or prosecution. Spanish fluency is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal representation in criminal defense cases
  • Prepare and present evidence in court
  • Conduct legal research and analysis
  • Develop and deliver effective courtroom arguments
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies
  • Advise clients on legal matters

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Active member in good standing with the Arizona State Bar (or ability to waive in)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in criminal defense and/or prosecution
  • Willingness to work onsite in the Phoenix office
