Crime Analyst Supervisor
About the role
The Crime Analyst Supervisor (CAS) directs and supervises the activities of technical and analytical staff for the Northern Region of the Division of Medi-Cal Fraud and Elder Abuse (DMFEA), the state's federally mandated Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU). The CAS oversees efforts to locate, compile, analyze, and disseminate Medi-Cal fraud and elder abuse information, data, documentary evidence, and property in support of the investigative and prosecutorial duties of Special Agents, Deputy Attorneys General, and Special Investigators within the DMFEA. The CAS also supervises clerical and administrative duties performed by various classifications.
Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise technical and analytical staff in the Northern Region.
- Oversee the compilation, analysis, and dissemination of Medi-Cal fraud and elder abuse information, data, documentary evidence, and property.
- Support investigative and prosecutorial duties of Special Agents, Deputy Attorneys General, and Special Investigators.
- Supervise clerical and administrative duties as necessary.
Pay
$6,567.00 - $8,494.00 per month. New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.
Schedule
- Permanent, full-time position.
