About the Role

Responsibilities
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
- Move rough and finished material from any area or department to proper storage (e.g., stock room, outside storage, or shop racks).
- Gather parts for contracts or shop orders based on production schedules or supervisor instructions and deliver them to the appropriate department.
- Mark blueprints/material copies to indicate issued materials, including quantity, date, and initials, and submit to the Material Control office with requisitions.
- Gather and package spare parts orders and return goods for shipping as instructed.
- Operate material handling equipment, including cranes (excluding cab), forklifts, and carts.
- Check tools in and out of the stock room when required.
- Maintain a clean and orderly storage area.
- Perform weekly inventory accuracy audits via cycle counts following company procedures.
- Complete closely related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- GED or High School diploma.
- Two (2) years of experience in shipping and receiving departments.
- Forklift operation experience.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to work collaboratively with others.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Perform repetitive tasks, including bending, stooping, and reaching.
Pay
- Starting wage: $25.72/hour, increasing to $28.10 after one year.
- Shift differential: $1.75 for second shift.
