Summary
The Crew Supervisor plays a crucial role in assisting the management team in the daily operations of the theater. The duties of a Supervisor include shift management, training employees, handling guest complaints, shift deposits, and completing nightly closing paperwork and duties. This position carries building keys and may be responsible for opening and closing the building.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Aid in overseeing theater operations.
- Assist in opening and closing the building, completing nightly paperwork, and preparing shift deposits.
- Supervise, train, and motivate theater Team Members in all departments.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to Team Members and provide follow up to ensure an efficient operation.
- Assist the management team in monitoring breaks and other minor restrictions per applicable State Law to ensure compliance.
- Assist with projection duties to ensure high standards of movie presentation.
- Maintain high quality of products, guest service, picture presentation, and guest safety.
- Assist with HR duties such as interviewing, new hire orientation, performance reviews and employee discipline.
- Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Engage in guest recovery situations, and act as a resource for questions, comments, or concerns for all guests.
- Manage inventory of concession items, ensuring adequate stock levels for business needs.
- Monitor and enforce food safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Assist in the maintenance of proper emergencies, safety, and security procedures.
- Assist with theater Areas of Responsibility (AOR’s) including HR, Food & Beverage, Marketing, Projection, Facilities, to contribute to the overall operation and success of the theater.

- Key Skills: Strong Microsoft Office Skills

- Theater operation functions are efficiently, accurately, and effectively performed in accordance with established policies and standards.
- Profit and loss budgets are within projected operating expectations.
- Customer service levels for managing areas meet and exceed expectations. Guest problems or questions are courteously and promptly resolved.
- Good working relationships and coordination exist with other team members and management.
- Company sales goals are consistently met and promotions are supported.
