About the role
This role is located in Melbourne, FL. This position is fully onsite with no remote work available.
Responsibilities
- Develop ICDs, layouts, and drawings of crew and equipment installations.
- NX modeling and equipment integration.
- Work with suppliers for integration activities.
- Thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels.
- Be a self-starter capable of flourishing in an environment with minimal direction.
Requirements
- For Level 2: Must have a Bachelor's in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 2 years of experience in the design and integration of equipment OR a Master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 0 years of experience in the design and integration of equipment.
- For Level 3: Must have a Bachelor's in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 5 years of experience in the design and integration of equipment OR a Master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 3 years of experience in the design and integration of equipment.
Qualifications
- Active In-Scope DoD Secret clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Active In-Scope DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Supplier Management Team (SMT) experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active DoD Top Secret (or higher) clearance (with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
- Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Experience with the design, analysis and integration of environmental control systems.
- Software tools experience with NX and/or CPLM.
- Experience interpreting component detail drawings, specifications, installation drawings, and test procedures.
- Experience writing/reviewing technical documents: SSOWs, SRDs, ICDs, SDRL reviews, etc.
- Experience in leading, mentoring, and developing multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver complex technical solutions, within cost and schedule constraints, across the various phases of the engineering lifecycle.

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Pay
Primary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00
