Responsibilities

• Ensures cremeria products are sliced and available.
• Handles product pricing.
• Ensures product quality, protection, accuracy, and proper rotation in coolers.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.
• Provides great customer service.
• Keeps cremeria displays clean and presentable.
• Stores cleaning supplies properly.
• Advertises department products.
• Responsible for receiving, unloading, stocking, filling, and rotating merchandise.
• Verifies cases, coolers, and refrigerators temperatures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• 1+ years meat department experience.

• Regularly required to sit, stand, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
• Vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Work environment is typical of an office and retail store; noise level ranges from quiet to loud.
• Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
• Walk and work in Freezer and Refrigerator Cooler as needed throughout the day.
