Driver/Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver materials to designated locations in a timely manner.
• Comply with traffic laws and company safety regulations.
• Help with loading and unloading vehicles.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate packing and labeling.
• Assemble wood boxes to specific measurements using hammer and nails.
• Unload and inspect incoming shipments, verifying against purchase orders and invoices.
• Document any discrepancies or damages and report them to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments, including tracking numbers and delivery confirmations.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow safety rules and procedures at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Excellent navigational skills and familiarity with the local area.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects >50 lbs.
• Experience with warehouse operations and material handling.
• Basic computer skills.
• Punctual consistent attendance.
