- Performs accurate and timely entry of customer selections into order processing system.
- Maintains and updates customer orders according to credit and collection standards and ensures on-time delivery.
- Handles general customer account inquiries via phone, email, and fax, and follows up to meet customer expectations.
- Utilizes business systems to document notes and gather necessary information.
- Solves customer issues, such as processing adjustments for late charges, overages, and shortages, following established guidelines.
- Conducts monthly department audits, assessing calls, updating account records, and responding to inquiries.
Works under close supervision, exercising limited independence and seeking guidance on non-routine issues. Typically involves detailed checks or reviews by a senior colleague or supervisor.
Located in a comfortable indoor environment. Work involves mostly sitting and occasional movement. Rarely requires moving or lifting heavy items. No travel is required.
High School Diploma or GED is preferred, with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
