Credit Associate
About the role
You will be assisting the Corporate Finance Manager and the Regional Finance Managers. Direct and support credit and branch personnel concerning credit, collection and financial matters across all Crescent companies. Act as a liaison between branches, collection agencies and customers on collection issues.
Responsibilities
- Maintain professional working relationships with corporate, district and branch personnel to help support company and branch goals.
- Provide excellent customer service and timely responsiveness.
- Aid Regional Finance Managers and Corporate Finance Manager with Credit Department goals, legal issues, reporting, analysis and any special projects.
- Review accounts receivable aging monthly and coordinate corrective action plans as needed with District Credit Managers, Credit Managers, District Managers or any other party as required.
- Process new account applications and communicate application status to the branch.
Qualifications
- Strong, comprehensive computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook products).
- PREFERRED: Knowledge of Eclipse.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under time constraints and against deadlines.
- Interpersonal and organizational skills, strong analytical skills, self-starter, detail oriented, and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Two year Associate’s degree in a credit related field or a minimum of two years related credit experience.
