About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Risk Practice Lead to lead our onshore consulting and delivery teams within the banking/fintech domain (digital lending). The ideal candidate will oversee delivery across multiple strategic client accounts, where our teams work across credit risk strategy, fraud, collections, and model development. You will own senior client relationships, serve as a domain expert, drive high-quality project delivery, and be responsible for hiring, managing, and developing the team.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the practice leader for multiple strategic fintech/digital lending accounts, owning end-to-end onshore delivery across credit risk, fraud, collections, and modeling workstreams.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of onshore consultants and managers deployed across client engagements, owning performance management, coaching, and career development.
  • Serve as the senior client contact for assigned accounts, engaging with C-level and senior executives; lead business reviews, manage escalations, and ensure high client satisfaction.
  • Drive projects end-to-end: scope, plan, staff, and oversee execution of analytical and strategic initiatives, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
  • Own hiring and growth of the onshore team: define role requirements, recruit, interview, and onboard new consultants to support account expansion.
  • Lead AI solutioning for clients, translating lending business challenges into AI/ML and GenAI-enabled solutions, from problem framing through solution design and delivery.
  • Act as a credit risk subject matter expert, delivering SME presentations, industry perspectives, and best-practice recommendations to client leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with offshore teams and practice leadership to ensure seamless, integrated global delivery.
  • Establish delivery governance, best practices, and quality standards across accounts, and identify opportunities to grow and expand existing engagements.

Requirements

  • Strong business knowledge of consumer lending across the customer lifecycle, including acquisitions/underwriting, fraud, account management, and collections, as well as bureau data.
  • 12+ years of experience in credit risk and analytics within banking, fintech, or financial services, including analytics consulting, solution design, and client management.
  • Proven experience leading onshore delivery teams and managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Strong track record of managing senior client relationships, including C-level executives, and growing engagements.
  • Experience across credit risk strategy, fraud, collections, and model development; experience with AI/ML and GenAI solutioning is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrable leadership ability, superior problem-solving and people management skills, with experience hiring and building high-performing teams.
  • Master’s or similar in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science/Engineering, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field; candidates with BA/BS degrees in the same fields from top-tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of credit risk strategy, fraud, collections, and model development across the lending lifecycle, including AI/ML applications in lending; ability to review and guide analytical work.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Python is good to have.
  • Strong program and engagement management skills, including planning, staffing, delivery governance, and engagement financials.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and story-building skills; ability to explain complex concepts to senior non-technical stakeholders.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to work closely with highly experienced, world-class analytics consultants from your first day.
  • Learn effective teamwork and time-management skills through hands-on experience.
  • Heavy investment in training across all aspects of analytics, leading analytical tools, and techniques.
  • Guidance and coaching through a mentoring program where every junior-level employee is assigned a senior-level advisor.
  • Unique experiences that set the stage for further growth and development within the company and beyond.
