What We Need You To Do
- Analyze credit data and financial statements to assess risk and determine appropriate credit limits for new and existing customers.
- Review credit applications and perform thorough background and trade reference checks.
- Monitor customer payment history and identify accounts requiring credit limit adjustments or additional review.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Collections to support customer account management.
- Make credit recommendations based on risk assessments and company policies.
- Maintain and update customer credit files and documentation within the ERP system.
- Prepare regular reports on credit risk, account exposure, and delinquency trends.
- Aid in the development and enforcement of credit policies and procedures.
- Support A/R Collections by helping resolve disputes and secure payment from delinquent accounts.
- Perform other related duties and financial analysis as assigned.
What You Need To Possess
- A high school diploma or GED.
- An associate's or bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- 2–5 years of credit analysis experience, preferably in a manufacturing or B2B environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to interpret credit reports and financial statements and make sound credit decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems (Plex is a plus).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- A team-oriented approach with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
