Job Responsibilities
- Aid Relationship Managers in analyzing financial statements and assessing borrower creditworthiness.
- Create and prepare credit approval packages.
- Maintain and monitor financial trends, covenants, and borrowing bases to identify potential credit risks.
- Recommend actions to mitigate identified risks.
- Collaborate with sales and credit teams to structure deals and address underwriting inquiries.
- Support client needs by acting as a mentor to analysts and sharing expertise in financial analysis, credit structuring, and risk assessment.
- Stay informed on market trends, credit policies, and risk mitigation techniques to strengthen expertise in commercial lending.
- Use independent judgement and discretion to make decisions regarding assigned portfolio.
- Analyze and resolve problems pertaining to the assigned portfolio.
Job Requirements
- Education: Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2+ years in credit underwriting, portfolio management, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong financial analysis and risk assessment abilities; proficiency in financial modeling and credit decision tools; effective communication and teamwork skills.
