Credit Products Specialist I

Job Responsibilities

• Aid RMs in analyzing financial statements and assessing borrower creditworthiness.
• Prepare credit approval packages for new loan transactions.
• Maintain oversight of financial trends, covenant compliance, and borrowing bases to detect potential credit risks.
• Recommend actions to mitigate identified risks.
• Collaborate with sales and credit teams to structure deals and address underwriting inquiries.
• Support client needs by acting as a mentor to analysts and sharing expertise in financial analysis, credit structuring, and risk assessment.
• Stay updated on market trends, credit policies, and risk mitigation techniques to enhance credit expertise.
• Make independent decisions regarding assigned portfolio and resolve problems related to the portfolio.

Job Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
• At least 2+ years of experience in credit underwriting, portfolio management, or a related field.
• Strong financial analysis and risk assessment abilities.
• Basic understanding of loan structuring and credit agreements.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and credit decision tools.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
