Credit Operations Analyst - Montpelier, Vermont

Responsibilities

• Run Daily Performance calculations and distribute to Analysts and Portfolio Managers.
• Bond and Loan trade allocations, trade affirmations, settlement of bond and loan trades, loan communications in ClearPar, distribution of Funding Memos to relevant parties.
• Maintain SMA client’s portfolio activity including booking relevant transactions in internal systems.
• Distributing monthly statements.
• Processing relevant Corporate Actions and informing Portfolio Managers/Analysts involved.
• Completing Monthly Best Executions.
• Aid with new SMA client onboarding and closing of accounts.
• Maintain office supply inventory, handle incoming mail, and direct incoming calls, visits and inquiries.
• Support various administrative and ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience in financial operations, investment research, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record and a proficiency in math.
• Understanding of financial markets, credit instruments, and basic accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

The expected salary for this position is $55,000 to $65,000 per year. Salary is based on years of experience and other qualifications.
