Support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading activities, and issue resolution while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and operational controls. The role involves credit administration, KYC management, treasury operations, and commercial paper processing while safeguarding the bank through effective risk management.
Responsibilities
- Assist business teams with operational activities including processing, reporting, reviewing, trading support, and issue handling.
- Work with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
- Identify improvement areas and recommend enhancements to operational procedures.
- Develop and implement procedures and controls to reduce risk and maintain efficiency.
- Prepare reports and presentations on operational performance for internal stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends and apply best practices in banking operations.
- Contribute to projects and initiatives focused on improving operational effectiveness.
- Provide specialist support and guidance to stakeholders and customers.
- Complete assigned activities on time and to a high standard.
- Handle responsibility for specific processes within the team.
- Support team coordination, resource allocation, and professional development where applicable.
- Manage assigned workload and contribute to wider projects and process implementation.
- Execute tasks in line with defined procedures while collaborating with related teams.
- Review work within the team to ensure stakeholder and internal requirements are met.
- Take ownership of risk management and maintain compliance with regulations and internal controls.
- Develop understanding of how teams contribute to broader business objectives.
- Apply operational knowledge and previous experience to make sound decisions.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and address operational requirements effectively.
Requirements
- Graduate or postgraduate in any discipline.
- Basic understanding of Group Policy Guidelines, Credit Risk, Country Grades, and Exposure Guidelines.
- Knowledge of credit documentation, lending operations, and security perfection processes.
- Understanding of KYC, AML, and banking regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with treasury operations, cash flow management, and Commercial Paper processes.
- Strong analytical and documentation review skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for MIS and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in credit administration, treasury operations, or corporate banking operations.
- Knowledge of NBFC regulations and commercial lending.
- Understanding of collateral management and drawing power calculations.
- Experience supporting audit activities.
- Familiarity with banking systems for onboarding, KYC, and treasury operations.
