About the role

We are seeking a Marketing Manager to support the go-to-market strategy and execution for Morningstar DBRS’ credit ratings offerings, including web subscription products. Reporting to the AVP, Marketing Strategy, this role helps develop marketing strategies and drives their execution: defining product and audience insights, building and running integrated campaigns, developing content and sales enablement assets, and managing day-to-day campaign execution and optimization across teams and channels. This role is a great opportunity to drive growth and make a meaningful impact on one of Morningstar’s largest and fastest-growing business units.

Success in this role requires strong product marketing experience. You bring a proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market plans, translate complex products into clear and compelling market narratives, and leverage data to optimize marketing performance. You are collaborative, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.

    • Design and execute integrated, data-driven demand generation campaigns for credit ratings products across social, search, email, and other relevant channels
    • Partner with Digital Marketing to optimize channel mix and campaign performance
    • Collaborate with Events Marketing to develop event strategies (conferences, roundtables, panel discussions, webinars) and support the execution of these events
    • Own email marketing strategy and execution, including audience segmentation, campaign development, testing, optimization, and performance measurement to drive demand and nurture leads
    • Develop high-impact sales enablement assets (pitch decks, one-pagers, narratives, case studies, and data use cases)
  • Content & Thought Leadership
    • Develop and execute strategies to distribute research, commentary, and strategic content to drive engagement and demand
    • Translate ratings research and insights into commercially relevant narratives across marketing assets (emails, landing pages, social posts, newsletters, event promotion and campaign copy)
  • Performance Measurement & Optimization
    • Define KPIs and measure effectiveness of product marketing initiatives against pipeline, revenue, and engagement targets
    • Analyze campaign and program performance and identify optimization opportunities to improve ROI
    • Build performance reports and provide regular reporting and actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Act as a key connector across Business Development, Product, Content, Marketing and Communication teams to ensure alignment and execution excellence
    • Manage the end-to-end campaign execution process from briefing, through launch, measurement and optimization – coordinating with Digital Marketing, Content, Events, Copy, and Design teams to bring campaigns to market on time and on brief
    • Partner day-to-day with cross-functional teams to manage inputs, reviews, and approvals across stakeholders with strong attention to detail and follow through
