Job Description
Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
Performs initial appointments and reappointments.
Processes all primary source verifications.
Sends completed files to Department for review and signature.
Maintain credentialing database.
Communicate with provider and department to provider necessary information.
Provider support for all credentialing and medical staff operations including responding to phone calls and emails, assisting with FPPE process, regulatory audits.
Maintain working knowledge of Medical Staff Bylaws; Rules & Regs.

Education
- Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: High School Diploma/GED minimum AND Experience 3-5 years credentialing experience preferred.
- Minimum Certifications, Registration Or License Requirements: Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred but not required.
