Credentialed Veterinary Technician - Brooklyn - Park Slope

About the role

Responsibilities

• Patient handling and husbandry
• Client education and partnership
• Surgical and dental nursing, including anesthesia management
• Detailed medical record keeping
• Emergency triage and response
• Run appointments alongside assistants

Requirements

• 1+ year experience as a veterinary technician
• Newly licensed technicians encouraged to apply
• CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT preferred

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Veterinary Technician (LVT), Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), or Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVMT)

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with veterinary software and equipment
