About the role
VCA Cottonwood Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our team. Competitive Pay and Benefits (We will help cover the costs of VTNE preparation and reimburse the registration fee for the VTNE) Location: 6360 Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah 84121 Schedule: 4 10-hour shifts per week. Rotating weekends.
Responsibilities
- Create a positive, low-stress atmosphere for clients and patients
- Support technician and doctor teams
- Win the confidence of every pet parent by delivering an outstanding client experience
- Utilize skills such as physical examinations and patient assessment, anesthesia monitoring, surgical preparation and assisting, dentistry, radiology, laboratory work, venipuncture, catheter placement, pharmacy, patient recovery, and compassionate care of hospitalized animals
Requirements
- Must hold a valid CVT, RVT, or LVT credential
- Experience in a veterinary setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, or LVT)

Pay
Pay Range: $22-$30 DOE
Schedule
4 10-hour shifts per week. Rotating weekends.
