As a Credentialed Veterinary Technician with Heartland Veterinary Partners, you will support all aspects of our veterinary practice, blending patient care and client service. You will assist veterinarians in various tasks, from surgeries to client education, and play a crucial role in ensuring seamless and successful patient care.

Essential Responsibilities

- Assist veterinarians in veterinary medicine and surgery. - Take histories, vital signs, and weights for outpatient exams. - Prepare patients for surgery and monitor vital signs. - Collect and process blood, stool, and other samples. - Take and develop radiographs. - Handle and restrain animals during exams. - Administer and monitor medications, anesthesia, vaccines, and treatments. - Maintain exam rooms and restock supplies. - Communicate with veterinarians and team members. - Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications

- State license to work as a certified/licensed/registered veterinary technician. - Ability to lift up to 25 pounds; ability to lift over 25 pounds with assistance. - Knowledge of OSHA safety techniques and proper PPE. - Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS office applications. - Basic math and ability to calculate medication dosages. - Strong communication skills.

Pay Range

USD $23.00 - USD $26.00 /Hr.
