Credentialed Veterinary Technician

About the role

Banfield Pet Hospital is hiring full-time and part-time Credentialed Veterinary Technicians (CVTs) at Johnston Hospital (11 Commerce Way, Ste 7, Johnston, RI 02919) and Warwick Hospital (1276 Bald Hill Rd, Warwick, RI 02886). The posting will remain open for a minimum of two weeks from the position posted date.

Responsibilities

• Provide furry, feathered, and scaled pets with the best possible care, especially preventive care
• Upon approval from supervising veterinarian, perform veterinary technician appointments (all appointments must be under the direction and supervision of a veterinarian and in compliance with state law)
• Build close relationships with pets and the humans who love them
• Work closely with teammates and cultivate a positive, dynamic work culture
• Impact the future of veterinary medicine with your own expertise and ways of practicing medicine

Qualifications

Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT) certification required.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $23.11 – $33.38 per hour. The specific rate is determined based on experience, skill level, abilities, education, and may vary by location or minimum wage laws.

Flexible scheduling is available for both full-time and part-time positions.
