Creator Manager - Los Angeles
About the role
Spotlight is hiring a Creator Manager to own and grow a portfolio of TikTok Shop creators, and to shape and run the creator strategy for our brand partners. You'll be the main point of contact for your creators, acting as a trusted partner who helps them earn more, stay engaged, and work with Spotlight again and again. This role is both creator-facing and client-facing. It combines strategy, high-touch relationships, and programs that reach creators at scale. You'll work closely with our Account Management and Operations teams to make sure creators and brands get best-in-class support.
Responsibilities
- Develop the creator strategy for each brand, including which creators to work with, what content to make, and how to activate them around launches and key sales moments.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of creators across all aspects of the relationship, with a focus on long-term retention and success.
- Place your strongest creators across multiple Spotlight brands over time.
- Recruit new creators into the Spotlight network through outreach across email, SMS, DMs and TikTok.
- Turn that strategy into campaigns and own them from start to finish, from the creative brief to the final video, keeping creators and clients aligned and on schedule.
- Track creator performance across brands and use it to coach creators on content that converts, guide your priorities, and make recommendations that drive revenue.
- Understand each creator's goals, resolve their questions quickly, and represent their needs inside Spotlight.
- Build programs and resources that activate creators at scale, such as challenges and incentives tailored to creators' performance, niche and experience, alongside the 1:1 relationships.
- Partner with Account Management, Operations and Product to surface insights, share best practices, and improve how we work.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in creator partnerships, influencer marketing, talent or account management, customer success, or a related field (internships count).
- Confident, clear communication with creators, clients and teammates.
- Strategic thinking: you can look at a brand and its results and form a view on what to do next.
- Comfort negotiating and managing expectations.
- Strong organization and attention to detail across several projects at once.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Genuine interest in TikTok Shop and the creator economy.
- Must be a US citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States for a period of no less than 3 years.
Qualifications
- Experience at an agency, talent management firm, or creator platform.
- Familiarity with CRMs.
- Beauty or consumer brand experience.
Benefits
- The chance to learn from a team that's scaled 50+ brands on TikTok Shop.
- Direct access to Spotlight leadership.
- Real ownership early.
- Scope, title, and compensation that grow with your impact.
- A front-row seat to the fastest-growing channel in e-commerce.
