Position Summary
The Creative Services Manager is responsible for managing and scaling CRASH's creative services by overseeing projects from concept through delivery while ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency. This role serves as the operational leader for CRASH's creative output, translating ideas into executable plans, managing timelines and resources, implementing new tools and workflows, and supporting the development of team capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end creative projects from ideation through implementation and delivery.
- Cook up and oversee the creative production lifecycle, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Manage creative service timelines, resource allocation, prioritization, and project workflows.
- Pilot, implement, and operationalize new creative tools, technologies, and processes.
- Develop, maintain, and deliver training materials, workshops, and upskilling initiatives.
- Ensure consistency in creative quality, process adherence, and service delivery across all projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, marketing, operations, and business stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and feedback to designers, editors, producers, and other creative contributors.
- Support the growth and development of creative team members through coaching and mentorship.
- Lead brainstorming sessions, creative reviews, and process improvement initiatives.
- Track performance metrics, adoption rates, project outcomes, and effectiveness of creative initiatives.
- Maintain documentation, standards, and best practices that enable scalable and repeatable creative services.
- Stay current on industry trends, production techniques, and emerging technologies.
- Aid in managing relationships with vendors and external creative partners as needed.
- Support storytelling, branding, digital media, video, audio, and print initiatives across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Media Production, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 5–7 years of experience in creative services, marketing, media production, project management, or a related creative environment.
- Experience managing creative projects from concept through final delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience developing and implementing workflows, processes, and operational improvements.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to lead training sessions and support employee development initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro).
- Experience with audio and video production tools, including Pro Tools.
- Familiarity with project management platforms such as Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or Smartsheet.
- Strong storytelling, visual communication, and content development skills.
- Experience working with in-house creative teams, agencies, or media production environments.
- Knowledge of digital marketing trends, content strategy, and creative technologies.
- Experience supporting creative work across print, digital, video, and audio platforms.
- Strong change management and process improvement capabilities.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and external creative partners.
- Familiarity with branding, sales enablement materials, or customer-facing creative assets.
- Working knowledge of UI/UX principles and design best practices.
