Team and Work Environment

Our Brand/Marketing teams represent: 20 people. The Brand team is responsible for brand marketing and sponsorship activations to drive awareness and affinity. The Marketing team is responsible for marketing to residential and business customers to drive program enrollment. There is also a shared body of work to communicate with customers about their account or service, unrelated to marketing that is partially managed by the brand/marketing team in partnership with the Communications team. It's a positive team environment with people who are passionate about the work and our customers. Our team communications use Microsoft platforms and our creative teams primarily use the Adobe Creative Suite and everyone uses Work front to manage creative projects and AEM to manage assets.

A Day in the Life

Working with marketers, strategists to brief and on brand. Our team typically is in the office 1-2 days a week to have a chance to collaborate, meet and interact in-person. If the chosen candidate prefers working in an office, that can be accommodated.

Interaction Level with Team Members and Hiring Manager

This role will work daily with team members and the hiring manager. This is a highly communicative and integrated team and the expectation is that this role will embed within this integrated team culture.

Top Priority for the Worker Over the First Few Weeks/Months

Learning PGE processes and standards. Working with partners to deliver excellent creative work.

The Biggest Challenge in This Role

We embrace and enjoy people who do not have a utility background. However, there is a lot of learning that will happen quickly to get up to speed etc. Resource needs can sometimes be challenging as we balance priorities and urgency of requests. Learning new systems such as Warfront (if they are not experienced in it).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Guide the execution of deliverables from concept through completion, relying on best practices
  • Collaborates with colleagues to aide in the development of marketing campaigns aligned to business needs and brand execution
  • Collaborate to create and execute clear, actionable briefs for creative (e.g., copywriters, designers, etc.)
  • Working with colleagues, coordinate assignments and work of creative
  • Capture all deliverables projects and create work-back plans that include goals, measurable objectives, tactics, resources, timelines, budget, key review cycles, stakeholders, decision makers
  • Cookordinate with designers, writers and other creative in the development of assets

Skills

  • Showcase strong organizational and time management skills, combined with the ability to prioritize work based on business strategy
  • Act as an ambassador of the brand, ensuring brand standards are maintained throughout campaigns
