Creative Project Manager

About the role

Bumble's Creative Studio is at an exciting inflection point, growing rapidly to support Bumble Inc.'s portfolio of apps globally. As a Creative Project Manager, you'll be the connective tissue between creative output and the wider business, keeping projects moving from brief through to delivery. You'll work within a full-service, in-house, geographically diverse creative team of designers, art directors, copywriters, video editors, and producers, collaborating with external production and agency partners. This role is based in the US, reporting to the Associate Director of Creative Operations in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of creative projects, from brief intake and kick-off through to final delivery, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
• Receive allocated briefs, set up kick-off calls with the creative team and marketing stakeholders, and clarify deliverables to start projects effectively.
• Build and manage detailed work-back plans for every project, mapping out timelines, milestones, and review stages in collaboration with the creative team.
• Act as the day-to-day point of contact for marketing stakeholders, keeping them informed on project status, timings, and upcoming review milestones.
• Coordinate and facilitate meetings, reviews, and cross-functional calls, preparing agendas, capturing actions, and following up to maintain momentum.
• Field questions and feedback from marketing stakeholders, triaging and routing them to the appropriate team member.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities with a structured approach.
• Work closely with the broader Creative Operations team to flag any capacity or timeline risks early.
• Maintain Asana as the single source of truth for all active projects, ensuring tasks, timelines, and ownership are up to date.
• Project scope spans social content, CRM, experiential, and beyond.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of project management experience, ideally with some time spent in-house.
• Strong understanding of how creative projects are structured and delivered, with the confidence to lead the process.
• Experience taking a brief from kick-off through to delivery, building work-back plans, and overseeing delivery to final sign-off.
• Proactive and highly organized, with excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.
• Experience using project management tools such as Asana and comfortable using Slack for day-to-day communication.
• Interest in experimenting with AI tools to improve workflows and create efficiencies in project management.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects without compromising quality.
• Strong collaborator with a positive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Passion for Bumble's brand vision and values.
