Creative Operations Director

About the role

AUDIONEVERDIES is an independent NYC entertainment company built out of love for music, ownership, creativity, and the freedom to build differently. We’re looking for a Creative Operations Director to join us as a founding teammate and help build the company from the ground up. This is not an assistant role—we’re looking for an operator who sees what needs to happen, creates structure around it, brings people together, and moves ideas from conversation to execution.

The mandate: build enough operational runway for our founder to put his foot on the creative gas—and never take it off.

Responsibilities

• Help manage and coordinate our existing creative team
• Own project timelines, meetings, deadlines, and follow-through
• Coordinate shoots, creative sessions, and events
• Source independent talent, vendors, and collaborators when needed
• Build systems that make the company more organized and efficient
• Identify stalled work before it becomes a problem
• Research and pursue partnerships, funding, and other opportunities
• Help strengthen our network within music, culture, and business
• Attend relevant events and identify opportunities for AUDIONEVERDIES to show up in the real world
• Turn ideas into action without waiting to be micromanaged

Requirements

• You love music—and are genuinely curious about how the music business works
• You study, listen to podcasts, read, and pay attention to culture and business
• You naturally connect dots and are resourceful, emotionally intelligent, and organized
• Comfortable operating when every answer isn’t obvious
• You welcome responsibility and challenge
• You can manage creativity without killing it
• You know how to disagree without becoming disagreeable
• You take accountability when you get something wrong
• You’re community-minded, enjoy meeting people, and understand that relationships matter
• You have an ownership mentality—you want to help build, not just work

Location & Schedule

This is a hybrid, part-time role with regular in-person participation in NYC. NYC is strongly preferred, but candidates in nearby areas of Long Island, New Jersey, or Connecticut may also be considered if they can consistently participate in shoots, meetings, studio sessions, and events. You can have another job, but when you’re here, we need you fully present.

Pay

This is an early-stage company, and compensation will reflect where we are today while including performance-based upside tied to qualifying value created. As AUDIONEVERDIES grows, the scope, responsibility, and compensation of this role can grow with it. For an exceptional person who proves over time that they have become part of the reason this company succeeds, long-term ownership is not off the table.
