Creative Lead - Tracksuit Studio

Tracksuit · New York, NY · 1 mo ago
Marketing$170k–$185k/yrFull-time

We’re building an in‑house creative studio for a B2B SaaS brand and need a senior, hands‑on leader who can act as creative director, editor‑in‑chief, and production manager all at once. You’ll set the vision, vibe‑check everything that goes out, and make sure it ships—think SNL show‑runner for content. You’ll have a direct line to the Head of Brand, real budgets, and full authority to set the creative standard across the marketing organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop concepts, campaigns, and brand‑platform work across every channel and format.
  • Provide creative direction for the entire department, with authority that extends beyond direct reports.
  • Manage and grow a team of writers, video editors, TikTok creators, social‑media managers, and other “weird, wonderful” talent.
  • Concept and create key pieces yourself to stay “player/coach” and keep your craft alive.
  • Collaborate with product, growth, and marketing science to turn briefs into ideas that travel.
  • Brief and direct freelancers and production crews during campaign peaks and major brand moments.
  • Establish creative processes, review cadences, and quality standards as the department scales.
  • Maintain consistent voice, tone, and identity that reflects Tracksuit’s spirit, style, and vibe.
  • Partner closely with the Global Art Director, Brand Manager, and wider design crew to expand the brand‑asset “buffet.”
  • Build a culture where ideas flow freely, encouraging honest critique and mentorship without threatening morale.
  • Provide honest feedback and mentorship that builds taste, not just manages workload.

Qualifications

  • Diverse creative background (alternative media, branded‑content studio, podcast production) and experience building newsroom‑style teams.
  • Proactive creator who generates opportunities rather than waiting for briefs.
  • Strong obsession with language; experience acting as a copy custodian or editor‑in‑chief for a brand.
  • Ability to turn mundane moments into watchable stories and think conceptually across video, social, and copy.
  • Proven experience leading multi‑disciplinary creative talent from concept to launch.
  • Track record of shipping integrated campaigns at a high craft bar, regardless of budget.
  • Skill in setting vision, influencing senior stakeholders, and tying creative decisions to strategy.
  • Talent for turning dull insights into culture‑driving ideas.
  • Excellent communicator who simplifies complexity, makes fast calls, and rallies people.
  • Experience managing agencies and partners across markets, known for raising quality and speed.
  • Portfolio of world‑class craft and storytelling that earns attention rather than just buying it.
  • Deep fluency in social and creator ecosystems; ability to translate cultural signals into breakthrough ideas.
  • Experience establishing creative operating rhythms with marketing, product, and design teams.
  • Full‑stack creative capability: produce, direct, and bring your own voice to stories.

Compensation

Salary range: $170,000 – $185,000 per year. We conduct comprehensive full‑cycle compensation reviews annually and offer rolling promotions as you level up. The salary is supplemented with a best‑in‑class benefits package and a generous Employee Share Option Program (ESOP).

Benefits

  • Competitive market‑rate remuneration, reviewed regularly with a focus on fairness and transparency.
  • Employee Share Option Program (ESOP) so the whole team shares in Tracksuit’s success.
  • Health and wellbeing: annual wellness bonus, access to an Employee Assistance Programme, and generous annual leave.
  • Parental benefits: paid parental leave and support for a smooth return to work.
  • Learning and development: annual L&D budget, mentorship opportunities, and exposure to new challenges.
  • Flexible working: office‑first culture with flexibility to support work‑life balance and performance.
  • Company‑branded Tracksuit apparel that reflects our vibe.
  • Pet‑friendly environment (occasional four‑legged visitors welcome).
