Responsibilities
- Define and evolve Unto Labs' brand identity, visual language, messaging, and creative direction across all channels
- Lead the development and refinement of core brand messaging for key audiences across developer, partner, and mainstream user communities
- Design and deliver campaign creative for product launches, developer events, and ecosystem milestones
- Build design systems and templates that scale across web, social, print, and event collateral
- Translate complex technical concepts, such as consensus protocols, cryptography, and distributed systems, into compelling and understandable visual and narrative stories for non-technical audiences
- Collaborate closely with engineers and product leads to highlight the story behind what we're building
- Lead creative efforts for press and major launches, coordinating visuals, messaging, copy, and multimedia for maximum impact
Qualifications
- 5+ years in a creative role spanning brand, messaging, and multimedia, ideally at a technology company or creative studio
- Experience shaping stories and messaging for highly technical products to both developer and mainstream audiences
- Proven ability to build a brand's visual and messaging identity from early stage
- Active side projects, personal creative work, or independent practice
- Proficient in modern design tools (Figma, After Effects, Premiere, or similar)
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving quickly at a startup
Nice to Have
- Experience in video production, such as concepting, shooting, editing
- Experience in graphic and motion design for brands, campaigns, and editorial
- Portfolio demonstrating range: brand campaigns, video, motion graphics, and editorial design
