About the role

Story Time Chess is hiring a full-time Creative Kids Enrichment Tutor to lead classes in schools and community programs across the Orlando area. Founded in 2025, the company has grown from zero to 40 schools in under a year, with over 100 teachers and tutors teaching more than 15,000 children a week across multiple cities.

Responsibilities

• Lead classes using our proven curriculum, which includes stories, games, and puzzles designed to make lessons fun and engaging.
• Focus on teaching children ages 3 to 8, rather than on lesson planning.
• Benefit from paid training and ongoing support.
• Grow with the company by taking on more responsibilities such as mentoring newer tutors, leading demo classes, and building relationships with schools and families.

Requirements

• A natural storyteller with a strong classroom presence.
• Fun, animated, and great with children ages 3 to 8.
• Reliable, organized, and passionate about teaching.
• Prior experience working with young children is preferred but not required.
