About the role

We are seeking a Creative Director with at least 7 years of experience leading creative teams and overseeing projects in an agency setting. The ideal candidate will be ready to take on more senior roles, participating in pitches and presentations, and bringing in new business.

Responsibilities

  • Elevate projects to a higher creative level by collaborating with clients, selling innovative work, and executing projects.
  • Showcase leadership and team growth by mentoring junior creatives and managing a team from Art or Copy Supervisors down to junior roles.
  • Lead the creative process, including briefings, concept development, execution, and final deliverables, ensuring they meet strategic imperatives and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, balancing independent work with team collaboration, and demonstrating initiative in problem-solving and idea generation.
  • Represent the agency and creative team in client meetings and presentations, providing clear and compelling presentations of creative strategies and solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients, account managers, and scientific team members to ensure projects are executed to the highest standard, aligning creative output with business goals and client objectives.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as an Associate Creative Director in an HCP-centric agency or equivalent business.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical and healthcare, with at least 2 years of management experience overseeing at least 2-10 junior creatives.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing innovative thinking in a wide range of tactics and award-winning work.
  • Experience in creating content such as KOL videos, conceptual educational experiences for HCPs at congress, DSA campaigns, AOR brand campaigns for HCPs, websites, banners, and ICVA's.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership skills across creative and brand teams, with examples of successful collaborations and project execution.
  • A strong portfolio of award-winning creative work across various media formats.
  • Deep knowledge of several therapeutic areas, with the ability to articulate strategic imperatives and how creative work achieves these goals.
  • A professional attitude, with a positive and collaborative approach, and a keen interest in science and medicine.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, account managers, and scientific team members.

  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to sell innovative ideas to clients and execute projects successfully.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Understanding of therapeutic areas and the ability to align creative work with business goals.

Benefits

Omnicom Health Medical Communications offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $157,500, along with benefits that include:
