About the role

The role of Creative Director is the first of its kind at ARCO Design/Build. It involves owning brand-level creative direction as the firm moves from brand strategy into practical application. This includes fluency in the evolved brand and extending it into practical tools and standards, as well as hands-on creative execution for various internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own brand-level creative direction across ADB’s corporate and regional work, ensuring the brand looks, sounds, and shows up consistently.
  • Learn the evolved brand inside out and extend it into practical tools and standards that teams can use.
  • Shape the 2026-2027 activation roadmap, focusing on priorities such as the proposal template system, video and motion, events, environmental graphics, and social media.
  • Partner with external branding agencies to build and execute the brand strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams like HR, Talent Acquisition, L&D, Innovation & Technology, Supplier Diversity, Procurement, Market Research, and more, providing direction and support.
  • Set the direction for freelancers and vendors, managing their creative work and ensuring consistency with the brand.
  • Build out the broader creative infrastructure, including an asset library and systems for finding and repeating creative work.
  • Provide brand counsel and ensure creative quality across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience leading brand and creative, including time in an in-house or corporate marketing team.
  • A proven track record of carrying a brand from strategy and guidelines through to activation across various channels.
  • Experience in creating functional toolkits, templates, and standards that teams can use.
  • Strong partnership skills with external branding, creative, and marketing agencies.
  • A strong eye for creative quality across multiple formats.
  • A leader who influences and guides others without heavy process or authority.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action and initiative.
  • Experience in construction, design-build, commercial real estate, engineering, or similar project-based industries is preferred.
