Creative Coordinator, Animated Original Series

About the role

Amazon Studios is a movie and series production company seeking a Coordinator to support the Animated Series team in the US. The successful candidate will assist Animation Executives, manage project submissions, track development and current series, coordinate with internal and external partners, and conduct research.

Responsibilities

• Works directly with and assists Animation Executives
• Affords assistance in managing the project submission and pitch process and upkeep of submission logs
• Develops and tracks development and current series for incoming deliverables, and provides notes on submitted pitches, treatments, and episodes
• Coordinates and interfaces with internal departments (marketing, business affairs, legal, PR, creative, production, and post-production teams) and external partners
• Builds and maintains interdepartmental grids and tracking systems
• Maintains database of series assets and assists with building PowerPoint presentations
• Conducts research as needed and maintains general tracking of industry players, overall deals, trends, and the competitive landscape
• Supports shadowing and creative projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent 2+ years experience as an assistant at a studio or production company, or one year as a creative executive
• Previous experience as an assistant at an agency, studio, or production company preferred
• Detailed planning, time management, and organizational skills
• Strong knowledge of entertainment industry trends and players, particularly with a focus on animators, artists, and studios in the Animation industry
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Positive, proactive, and able to consistently exercise great judgment
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
• Creative problem-solver

Qualifications

• Preferred qualifications include previous experience as an assistant at an agency, studio, or production company
• Strong knowledge of entertainment industry trends and players, particularly with a focus on animators, artists, and studios in the Animation industry
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $71,600.00 - $125,400.00 USD annually.
