About the role
ANINE BING is looking for a Creative Assistant to join our team based in Los Angeles. This role works directly alongside our Founder & Chief Creative Officer as a trusted extension of her day-to-day, helping maximize her time, bring ideas to life, and ensure the many creative, professional, and personal priorities around her move forward seamlessly. The scope is intentionally broad and hands-on, spanning creative content and special projects, founder support, travel and logistics, and other general needs.
Responsibilities
- Work directly alongside the Founder & Chief Creative Officer as an extension of her across creative, professional, and personal priorities.
- Manage day-to-day support, including calendar, meetings, travel, expenses, appointments, personal errands, household and family logistics, and other needs as they arise.
- Plan ahead across the Founder's schedule, travel, shoots, events, and key brand moments to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Develop and execute Founder-led content and special projects across Instagram, Substack, newsletters, and other channels, from ideation and research through drafting, imagery, publishing, and cadence.
- Capture, curate, and edit content for the Founder's personal social presence, including photography, captions, posting, and scheduling.
- Support shoots, fittings, events, appearances, and travel, coordinating logistics and capturing organic content in real time.
- Support personal paid partnerships and collaborations, working with external management and internal teams to coordinate deliverables and timelines.
- Maintain content and editorial calendars and create mood boards, decks, references, and research to support creative direction.
- Help keep communication and follow-up moving between the Founder and internal teams, including attending select meetings, capturing actions, and ensuring priorities are carried through.
- Jump in wherever needed with discretion, flexibility, sound judgment, and a hands-on mindset.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of relevant experience, including internships, across creative, editorial, social media, fashion, lifestyle, talent, or executive/personal support.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education, internships, or hands-on experience.
- Highly organized, proactive, resourceful, and comfortable managing many different kinds of priorities at once.
- Strong creative instincts and a natural eye for content, imagery, fashion, and culture.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to understand and reflect the Founder's voice and the ANINE BING brand.
- Ability to represent the Founder and brand appropriately across internal meetings, shoots, events, travel, and external-facing moments.
- Digitally native and confident across social platforms; photography and light photo/video editing skills are a plus.
- Mature, discreet, and trustworthy when handling confidential company, personal, and family information.
- Comfortable with a role that blends creative work with practical, hands-on support.
- Flexible and willing to support shoots, events, travel, and occasional needs outside traditional working hours.
