Creative Agency Project Manager (Full-Time | Hybrid - Greenville, SC)

About the role

FUEL is a boutique, 100% female-owned brand‑building agency based in Greenville, SC. Over the past 15 years we have launched 97 brands, won 36 AAF awards, and provided 19 community grants. We partner with mid‑market firms and growing SMBs, applying our proprietary methodology—The Brand Foundation™—to guide brand strategy, identity design, website UX, and digital marketing execution. As the Creative Agency Project Manager you will own the operational engine room, drawing a clear line between Project Management and Account Management so that Account Managers can focus on strategy and client growth while you manage project schedules, resources, and delivery. You will act as an operational architect with full backing from agency leadership to design processes, implement AI/automations, and maintain Basecamp as our central source of truth. This role offers high autonomy, a modern tech stack, and the chance to be the operational backbone of an award‑winning creative team.

Responsibilities

• Own project schedules, resources, and delivery for client projects.
• Design and refine project management processes.
• Implement AI‑driven automations and software integrations to optimize workflows.
• Maintain Basecamp as the central source of truth for all projects.
• Enable Account Managers to focus on strategy and client growth by handling operational execution.
• Manage scope creep, drive team accountability, and keep timelines on schedule.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of dedicated project management experience within a creative agency, branding boutique, or digital marketing agency.
• Hands‑on mastery of Basecamp (or comparable tools such as Monday.com/Asana) with experience building complex task dependencies to manage client projects.
• Automation mindset: enthusiasm for software integrations, digital shortcuts, and leveraging AI technologies to optimize workflows.
• Assertive communication skills and natural comfort managing scope creep, driving team accountability, and keeping schedules on track.
